Description

A soft sky blue dotted with little yellow hearts, for days when you want a saree that smiles. Mul cotton that feels light and breezy from the first drape, with a neat scalloped border and yellow tassels for a playful finish. Made for brunches, coffee dates, summer days and family functions.

Fabric & design

Soft, breezy mul cotton with a fine cotton base. The weave is tighter than our earlier version. Like all mul cotton it is naturally sheer, so a petticoat underneath works best. It is pre-washed, so it feels gentle from the first wear and is less prone to shrinking.
Heart embroidery in yellow thread all over the saree, with a scalloped border and yellow tassels.

Size & what's included

Saree: 5.5 m long, 1.19 m wide.
Blouse piece: 1 m, included, attached to the saree.

Care it needs

Washing: Hand wash or machine wash on a gentle cycle with mild detergent. Use cold or lukewarm water.

Drying: Dry in shade. Avoid direct sunlight to prevent the fabric from becoming brittle.

Storage: Store folded in a cool, dry place. Iron before storing to maintain crispness.

How it's made

Made in West Bengal by weavers and women workers, each lending a hand at their own step. The weavers bring the saree to life on the loom, the hearts are embroidered all over in yellow thread, and women workers tie on the tassels by hand, with care. Every saree is checked by hand, twice, before it comes to you.
