Care it needs

Washing:

  • Dry clean recommended for the first wash to preserve color brilliance.
  • Subsequent washes: gentle hand wash separately in cold water using a mild liquid detergent.

Drying:

  • Gently squeeze out excess water without twisting or wringing the fabric.
  • Hang the saree to air-dry flat or on a padded hanger in a well-ventilated shade to prevent color fading.

Storage:

  • Store the saree in a cool, dry place wrapped in a breathable cotton or muslin bag.
  • Refrain from using plastic sleeves or covers, which can trap moisture and weaken natural fibers.
